This week we talked about Micah and his hireling priest. Sin skews things little by little over time, until the perversion becomes so great that God intervenes. There is a way that seemeth right to a man...

This week we discussed the last chapter dealing with Samson, Judges 16. The theme was eternal security. It is a fearful thing to be in the hands of a living God. This our salvation is of utmost importance, and should be dealt with very carefully. It is our flesh that desires to rest in some false assurance, yet if we feed the flesh we are promised corruption, death (Galatians 6:8).
Have you the mind of Christ? Let that be your assurance, Deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Him.

This week we looked at Samson the disobedient. Most of the characters in the book of Judges have deep flaws. in the beginning we compared this with the book of Ruth which has great characters.
Some would use it as an excuse to not work on their life, but the wise realize the lesson taught between the two books (which were recorded in the same time period): that is, it is possible to live holy in the midst of a declining society.

This week we introduced Samson into the story Judges 14. Samson was devoted from conception to be a judge of Israel. However this did not give him much reverence nor did he move in the fear of God. He was full of folly, God used this folly for His purpose. Are we wise fearing God in all matters?are we waiting for His divine direction in our lives? or are we like Samson before us squandering our time here on earth?
Many don't realize the answer hidden in plain sight as our eyes are caught up on material things.
