The nature of salvation itself has been obscured so much that it may take a reformation like in the days of Ezra to get back to the truth. Salvation is not a one time experience but a journey walking with God. People form philosophies around "eternal security" rather than turning to God who is eternally secure. The reason they do this is because fellowship with god requires holiness.
God desires to see us saved, and if we will agree with Him confess and forsake our sin, then saved we will be!
