8/12/2019 0 Comments Suffering to Reign![]() This week chapter 6 was covered it is important to understand what it is talking about so when we move on to 6-8, we can have a consistent understanding. The main theme that was chosen from this text was suffering. We are told to glory in tribulations, the benefits are outlined. This poses a challenge how do we do this? The solution is then given as we look to the many sufferings of Christ. This is our test how we endure shows the strength of our Christianity. If we do not understand the suffering of Christ, we will hardly be able to endure our own. Remember Judas. He was looking for a king to reign, but balked at His suffering. It is important to make this clear before we move on to the next chapter.
Genesis 3 is very explicit in what was passed down because Adam's sin. 1. Knowledge of good and evil 2. Death 3.The Fallen World: thorns and thistles hinder our work in this world 4.
