By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:8-10 This week we spoke of the Song of Moses, the gifts of faith as well as the folly of disbelief. We touched on the subjects of songs, their usefulness, as well as their shortcomings. We can sing a song that uplifts our spirit momentarily, all the while missing the message. We must learn to wield the Word of the Lord as a double-edged sword.
