Well, it is likely you have heard the news. Jeff Younger, a Christian man in Texas, is currently in court and possibly will be forced to help pay for his son’s sex change operation. The couple divorced and the mother got custody of the children. The father was denied the right (by threat of incarceration) to call his son by name in front of anyone who knows him as a girl. This began at three years old: the boy is now seven.
How did we get here?
While one can’t be certain all the reasons, in particular, I would like to address the elephant in the room: gender roles and the problems which arise from their destruction. This would have been unthinkable in the society which existed in the time of the writing of the Bible. Still, the Bible is adequate to establish what should be done to solve these issues and to protect us from relapse.
“But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.”-Mark 10:6
These are the Words of Jesus. In reading the passage in context, there is much to be gleaned from this discourse. First, consider this; the idea of transgender rights or sodomite so-called marriage had not yet entered the public mind. Still, Jesus included this verse while answering a question regarding marriage. The fact is this was done on purpose as these verses are not attached in the text He quoted. It is quite possible, that Jesus was reaching far into the future with these statements. He knew what was in men that is for sure. Satan has had this day and hour planned for a long time, we are told to not be ignorant of his devices. We can be certain God is not surprised. Whatever Jesus intended in his response we certainly have authority to use His Word to battle those devices. In short, this is the solution. There is so much in this chapter, the answer is clear and abundant. Still, will the hard heart be made to hear?
So many today fill their mind with contradictory doctrine. They believe the lies told to them by news, movies and media in general over the plain truth of the Bible. “God made them male and female.” That should settle the issue, in theory, so why does the issue remain?
Because men rebel against God. The issue is settled with Him to be sure, and the rebellion of these men will last only so long. This is why, it is important to warn them and make the ‘way to escape’ clear. That said, it will take an anointing to break through the hard hearts and for this we must conduct some self-examination. In order for us to break through we must be completely set apart from the issue. So, let us examine the issue from its root to see if we still might have a toe in its dark waters.

How did we get here?
To be sure, it was not just sodomite so-called marriage which set us on this course, but it goes deeper. Fifty years ago, sodomy was considered a mental illness, there are still laws on certain books naming it as a crime. A little over 100 years before that it was widely looked upon as demonic and was a criminal act in Western culture. Around 1864 it began to be argued that it was a hereditary condition, beginning with pamphlets written by the lawyer, Karl Heinrich Ulrichs of Germany, and continued through the efforts of journalists such as Karl Maria Kertbenny. It is telling to report, Edward Carpenter, one of the pioneers of gay activism was a “a prominent advocate of vegetarianism, overt homosexuality, anti-industrialism, women’s rights, clean air, and the value of manual labour”. He died in 1929, he was one of the early members of the Fabian socialist society. His paper “Civilization: Cause and Cure” can be found in the Anarchist Library online, he describes human society as a disease. In a brief study, it would seem the agenda has not changed from the beginning.
God established certain truths in the garden. Studying these will shine light on the darkness which has seemingly overtaken our current society. Men were commanded to work ‘by the sweat of their brow’ to provide for their families not the families of others. This is not to say men cannot perform acts of charity towards those in need, but the tenets of socialism take free will out of this equation. It could be observed that though this system touts itself as a remedy to help humanity; it instead degrades humanity by its implication that free will charity is insufficient.
Women are commanded by God to submit to their husbands. The women’s rights movement has been championed by sodomites from the beginning. Could it be from spite that the malcontents have sought to destroy the roles given by God? One thing is sure, the enemy of our souls has used these combined strategies to wreak havoc on the family. The more muddy the water surrounding the first sacrament, the more doubt can be cast on the nature of God Himself. These things hold the resonating question which led to the very first sin, “Hast God really said?”
It could be considered, that part of the problem is even deeper in history. That is in the normalization of chattel slavery. There have been volumes written by various abolitionists to decry chattel slavery as unbiblical. Still this terrible view of the word servant has never quite been eradicated. It was a common cliché, I heard when I was in a child, that women were tired of ‘slaving away’ in the kitchen. When we look at service as some sort of bondage or slavery, then naturally we should set the women free. None of these arguments will stand on judgment day. God did not intend for wives to be slaves when he told them to submit to their husbands. Remember, He also said of husbands, “love your wives as Christ also loved the church. Would we oppress Christ and treat Him as a ‘slave’ to do our bidding? On the contrary, Jesus said, “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.” One reason we have come to the place we are; is because we have forgotten we are to serve one another.
 Gn. 3:16  Gn.3:1  Ep.5:23-25  Mt. 20:25-28
“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh,
One thing that can be observed with either of these ‘equality’ movements (sodomy and women’s lib) rights are esteemed higher than service to others. This is antichrist as Jesus gave up His rights in service of the kingdom. Another thing that has become abundantly apparent is that it is not equality that is the goal, but a reversal of the role altogether. That is, the Biblical man (at least in mainline culture) is now in subjection to the whims of women and sodomites. Ultimately, men are responsible for this cultural shift. God made them head of the household all the way back in the garden, may this never be forgotten. With the role of the husband fully neutralized our society has been filled with abortion (child murder), single parenting, sodomy and a rising problem of pedophilia.
One of the biggest sources of fodder against biblical manhood came in through the television of the sixties, seventies and even the eighties. Stereotypes of wife-beating husbands were written into so many story-lines. The call came along for easy no fault divorce, which was passed first in California in 1970. This is the breakdown of trust which most children grow up in today. This first sacrament (marriage) has been terribly defiled. The lack of commitment is so rampant, that young people don’t even want to get married anymore. It should be shocking that in our modern society we have women ‘Bishops’ in the Methodist church fighting for the right to ‘marry’ sodomites, while young people (straight) who are co-habitating, sit in the pews without shame. However, it seems mundane when looking at the case of Jeff Younger and his fight to keep his son’s manhood intact.
When the courts made divorce easy and available, it wasn’t long after abortion followed. In this, they have pushed the envelope even further from God’s standard. Though it takes a man and a woman to make a baby, the ‘choice’ is placed solely on the woman as to whether to kill it or not. This has been the lie of the land for forty-six years and counting. Sadly, in the case of James Younger, we see this perverse logic springing forth to an even darker form. James was 3 years old, when his mother decided to rename him Luna. I have no idea what led up to this decision, and it is not the intent of this article to get to into those intimate details. Still, the question at the heart of the matter is how much authority do we give one person over another? Is it not the responsibility of a parent to protect the child? If a toddler wanted to drive your car would you allow them (if it were possible)? Is not part of that protection looking ahead of them and wisely sheltering them from bad choices? How many of us have observed the phases a child goes through, what if one of those phases was permanent? would it be wise to allow this to take place?
 Ph.2:5-8  Lk. 22:42
I would put forth that the well-being and care for the child in question is not at all what is being considered here. The agenda of the ‘rights’ movement becomes clear for what it has always been. Its sights are not set on uplifting and bringing about the best good for the people in its charge, but to defeat any semblance of godliness in them. This is hard for us to discern, possibly, because those within the ‘rights’ campaigns always use love as one of their tag words. However, it is not in the interest of love that these things are being done. Love entails benevolence towards its object. It is much deeper than being polite, saying nice things, Jesus defined the greatest love as laying down your life for your friends. This is the opposite of what this movement does, it calls friends to lay down their life for it. A few years back we had the case, of Lisa Miller in Vermont. Miller was an ex-lesbian who (upon leaving the civil union, which she and her girlfriend entered into, prior to her conversion to Christianity) was forced to grant visitation rights to her ex-lover. There was evidence of child abuse, still the court overlooked this for the sake of the agenda. Miller was forced to go into hiding with the child she gave birth to, what else could she have done?
Well, here we are. I have been writing this over the course of a week, and the jury has spoken against the father, the judge on the other hand awarded joint custody. What is left for him to do? He will be forced to put his son in the hands of the psychiatrist that his ex-wife chooses. Of course, we pray that this is stopped and can only hope for resolution. I have given a brief synopsis of the history which brought us here, though much more may need to be written. At the beginning of this article, I assured you that Scripture contains enough artillery to fight this battle. Let us shift gears and get to a Biblical solution. In a nutshell, this begins and ends with repentance, but let us look closer at just what we need to repent of.
 Jn. 15:13
“Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same,
Do you take pleasure in the wicked? It is time to repent. We must repent of poor teachings which degrade the Christian virtue of service. We must encourage men to come back to their duty leading the church. This is always met with animosity, but it is a battle which must be fought and won if any ground will be won towards a return to godliness. This can be won by emphasizing the first part: the joy and benefit of Christian service. One does not need be a Pastor or have any title to serve and edify the body. On the other hand, giving the title of ‘Pastor’ to a woman is simply unbiblical. Though there are only a few verses speaking on this, the ones we have are quite clear and sufficient. Let us examine them.
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
The woman was deceived and not Adam. There are many things which can be drawn from this verse. The general view is (while I was unable to find any hard studies on a correlation between sodomy acceptance among churches with women ‘Pastors’) and personal experience has shown the two are very connected. A woman may have a soft spot for this type of sin that the man does not share. One thing that is sure, is that giving a woman the position of ‘Pastor’ is a clear violation of verse 12. The go-to verse which those who try to defend this practice is in Galatians, let us examine this.
“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
The context is shown here to display the context of what is being said. This verse is not referring in any way to the leadership of a local body of believers. It is only strengthening our understanding of the character of Christ. God is no respecter of persons. All have sinned and all need a savior. More importantly, everyone who has been washed by the blood of Jesus is now of the seed of Abraham. To read anymore into this passage, then is clearly there, is to do a grave disservice to the whole Epistle. It was written to shine light on the darkness of Judaism which was subverting the faith of the church in Galatia. There were no women ‘Pastors’ there. If the letter to the Galatians nullified roles of gender then there would have been no reason to write the passages which exist in Corinthians, Ephesians, here in I Timothy and in Titus. Peter affirmed what Paul wrote in his own letters. For the sake of time, let us look at Titus to see the role for women in church defined.
“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
The aged women should be teachers of good things. Teach young women to be sober, to love their husbands and children. How many of us have ever considered the implications of needing to be taught to love? The Bible says it and it could be why we have such a high divorce rate (even among Christians). The modern ‘independent’ woman is not learning this; as a whole people have begun trying to make friends with their children rather than train them. Roles and duties are clearly defined, biblically speaking, and this should not be written off as something from and for another time. The changes we see in society are not good, the fruit is in fact, rotten. We must become creative in teaching women the value of their place in a home, if we are to gain any ground in this battle.
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants
The trouble is that once a woman has taken a position of authority it is very hard to get her to step down. God said she would be ruled by her husband. I have heard more than one, woman ‘Pastor’, say they were only doing the job because no men would do it. Yet there are men in the congregation, even more telling is when a man comes along who is qualified he is driven away quickly. There is no need for women to be Pastors. But the dire need we have is for women to teach the younger women.
We need to repent of our involvement in building up Jezebel and lay down guidelines that we would not return to this error. Think of the reformation described in the book of Ezra. Gender roles are defined clearly in the Bible, men should lead the way in restoring them in the church. This will take anointing. It will take a gentleness with the people, at the same time, sternness towards the offender. This is one of the biggest symptoms of the feminization of the church. The feminine church espouses mercy and love toward the criminal while overlooking the victim. This can be seen clearly in the issues of abortion and sodomy.
Men need to get back to their God given role which is being the pastor of their household. We need men of God to be men, to stop trying to appease women and take authority. They are to love their wives as Christ loved the church. They are to wash their wives by the Word. The Bible says if we would do this we would be presented blameless without spot or blemish. There are different mannerisms that are acceptable in men than women. Men should be trained to use righteous anger effectively. When men are taught by women they are taught to suppress it. The Bible says, be angry but sin not, this is where a man’s nobility lies, his drive to protect those he loves. Men should concern themselves with matters of justice and mercy.
 Gn. 3:16  Ea. 10:3  Ep. 5:25-26  Mi. 6:8
The young men today let their girlfriend drive. They come to abort their children and they sit in the car while the girl goes in to do the deed. They have been completely neutered mentally. If you strike up a conversation with them many times they blame the woman ‘It’s what she wants… what can I do?’ In view of these things I suppose the Younger case is not so shocking after all!
Are these issues advanced too far to return? Read Ezra. They made quite a change when they were convicted of God. It is action rendered by faith we need, rather than questions which only bring strife and discord. We need the Holy Ghost: that conviction may fall, with God all things are possible! One thing is certain if we sit back and wait for the Lord to return, things will only change for the worse. When the Lord comes, we ought to want to be found doing what He told us to do; that is preaching and teaching all that Jesus taught His own disciples to do. I can only sound the alarm, what is done with that alarm is not my responsibility. I am a prisoner of hope, I will stand in the gap, I will mourn for the abominations done in our cities. We have all we need in the Bible to turn back the advances of the enemy. It comes down to, what will you do with what you’ve been given?
