Meet Saint Prudent! Brother Prudent came to America from a country in East Africa. He grew up in the catholic system, he spoke to me about church without power. He said that he should not be saved but God. He came out of that system and is now in the body of Christ! Praise God!
When I met him he was reading something on spiritual warfare. we spoke immediately of the need for true salvation in the professing church. We talked briefly and he went to his class, I went to preach. It was such a blessing to join him in worship the last day I was in Portland. On the campus I met so many who said were christian but denied God with the lifestyles they lived and/or defended. In the middle of all of that there were two students who stood for righteousness, Prudent was one of those. Praise God for a remnant on a liberal campus like U of Southern Maine.
"For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
He testified of the Holy Ghost who taught him by drawing people to him to teach him to play drums, then piano and then finally giving him the courage to sing. He found the strait, narrow path that leads to life: now it is his passion to lead others there. He recognizes this duty as a worship leader that it is not about talent or fame but entering into that holy place where God dwells.
Pray for this brother saints as God is leading him into film-work with a focus on evangelism. He desires your prayer as this is going to be a hard road and he recognizes he doesn't know how to do it. He is relying on the power of God in faith. We are blessed to have faithful men in the kingdom though we may be few in number we are mighty in Spirit.
"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"-I Peter 2:9
We should ever be about our heavenly Father's business.
