In case any are unfamiliar with abolitionism, let it be explained. Abolitionism is the Gospel centered response to the last 46 years of abortion apathy from the professing church. Many blame the end times or say people will be evil no matter what, still, abortion is legalized evil and in a democratic republic, we, the people, are responsible for our laws. As Christians we should be on the forefront of the fight to stop this heinous crime.
Consider what is said in the following Scripture:
"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
"Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing." (v.46)
This is very important, we ought to be watching and praying hopeful of the Lord's return.
Watching does not imply being passive, rather 'so doing', it means being a watchman. We have a duty to stand for justice.
"But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."-Luke 11:42
There are five tenets of abolitionism.
These are taken from the abolish human abortion website.
"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"-Micah 6:8
"Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil;Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow."
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."
For too long we have been trying to persuade the world by attempting to fellowship with them. The Bible is clear that we should reprove them. They suppress the truth in unrighteousness and need someone to remind them of the day of judgment to come.
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."-James 1:27
Humans are greater than animals; as we are made in the image and likeness of a holy God, 'made a little lower than the angels'. God thought so much of us He sent His only begotten to come in the 'form a servant' to save us from our sins and to show us how we can live a life pleasing to God.
(Gn. 1:26; I Co. 6; II Co. 6:14-17; Rm. 1:18; Lk. 4:18-19; Hb. 1; Ph. 2)
We trust the power of God rather than worldly strategies. This should be a living out of Romans 12 which call us to prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
We through preaching, prayer and fasting we seek to establish the standard of God at the same time we seek to persuade men to do likewise.
(3.) Gospel Centered
The best tool we have is the Gospel itself and the Great Comission.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
(4.) Body Driven
The church itself should be the driving force for ridding our land of legislative evils. The verses written in the first tenet apply here as well. We should not try to yoke up with unbelievers for the sake of unity this is an unholy unity and God will not bless it.
(5.) Immediate and Uncompromising
We believe to settle for anything less than the immediate and total abolition of abortion in our land is contrary to the cause of Christ. Jesus said, Go and sin no more. We must stand on His principles and leave the results to Him.

So, now that you have a basic run down of what abolitionism is, let me tell you about the mission. It was truly amazing! Christians came from all over the nation and there was so much good teaching and fellowship. I was truly humbled and blessed to be able to be there.
Two months ago, I was in Alaska and was working with my hand to the plow there. I heard of this conference and I prayed in secret and once again God has rewarded openly. I never spoke of my desire to go but it has been pining in me. Now I realize why. What a blessing!
There were issues with police trying to suppress the preaching, but overall everything went very smooth. One of those encounters brother Rick Small turned into a powerful witness to the police. He shared his heart with the officer and I pray the seeds sown will flourish. Police are put in a hard place when they are called on to defend wickedness like abortion, they need ministry.
This issue with the police defending wicked is one of many reasons we as Christian citizens must strengthen our resolve to stand against iniquitious decrees. When good is called evil no one can prosper. This conference made this very clear and brought to light a Proverb.
"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord."-Proverb 17:15
I would like to write much more but for now I will leave you with this thought: Is it possible to truly know mercy without first feeling the reality of justice? Jesus died that we might be pardoned, can we really know the depth of that pardon, if we diminish the exceeding sinfulness of our own rebellion?
Is this not what we do, when we allow our nation
to pass laws which normalize the things God hates?
It is time to stand for justice with a hand of compassion,
we need to walk uprightly towards them in lack.
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ."-Colossians 3:23-24
This week we would like to highlight Brother Daniel Maguire. He is a preacher of righteousness, man of God, a father and husband, he is also fervent in business. This is the part we would like to highlight in this vlog. God is trustworthy! When one thinks of living by faith they don't often think of it this way. But the simple truth is the just shall live by faith, this is what used to be termed as vocation, a trade done for the glory of God.
I hope you enjoy this short exhortation! praise Jesus!
We should ever be about our heavenly Father's business.
