This is one of the reasons why I'm a fan of country music. Country music will always be one of the genre of singing songs of love to God. I'll never understand why other people love nonsensical music nowadays. I'm more inclined to listening to classic and religious country music. I won't miss out on the CMA awards and hopefully, I can follow the latest trend in the country music scene.

How can songs about drunkenness & sin glorify God?
How can two walk walk together lest they agree?
Can one be a friend of the world and a friend of God at the same time?
"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?"
It makes no matter if a singer 'tips their hat' to God after a long night of drinking whiskey and encouraging others to do likewise.
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
As for religion:
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."
The key point being made is this, "...unspotted from the world."
