It was a snowy day in Spokane Washington. Three of us, Bruce Wakeman, Fred Lusk and I showed up early in the day. At first it seemed there were more there for the March for Life, than for the Wicked Women’s March which was encouraging. We staked out a spot directly across from their rally. It was a great day everything went very smoothly.
The three of us took turns preaching the Gospel and each preacher’s word complimented the others’. The full counsel of God was presented. As normal, the demons manifested and the people of many letters made their presence known. One young man danced continuously, while despicably mocking God. We pray he will come to his senses, that said, on judgment day he will be without excuse.
What type of thinking leads to mass producing pink hats made in the shape of female body parts? Why would anyone wearing such a thing expect anyone to take them seriously? Judgment day is a reality and sadly most of these women are not ready!
While their march was going on we stayed in the area we were and took a break. Praise God for the Spokane police who did a wonderful job keeping the crowd under control. Everything was done decently and in order.
During the break a young man came asking questions. It turned out he was a Catholic, we presented many challenges to his belief system. Say what you will, but it is my belief that he will not soon forget our conversation. I praise God for every conversation God allows to take place lifting Him up above everything else as it should be. We give Jesus the preeminence, not Mary, not a Pope or a Priest, but Jesus and Jesus alone!
As far as events go it was very uneventful, I thank God to see the spirit of this movement is dying down as there were much less there than the two other years I have seen it and the local preachers agreed.
Teamwork was the highlight of the day for me. Travelling I have plenty of time to preach alone and am not afraid to do so, but I prefer to work with a team. Even more to the point, I like to work with a good team. We should be able to appreciate other ministers for their differences and similarities. It is often overlooked but the vertical conversation of prayer is just as important as the preaching. I think we had good mix last Saturday. We, the same team, went to preach at the Martin Luther King Day Parade on Monday and it went smooth as clockwork. Praise Jesus!
"“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”-Psalm 133:1
Pray with us that we will abolish the abortion of image bearers of God here in this nation. The devil has his people out in the streets and it is time for the people of God to stand in opposition to them. Will you go?
61,000,000,000 have been senselessly slaughtered, will you speak up in defense of their lives?
Pray for us as we stand.
I sincerely thank you for your prayers and support!
We should ever be about our heavenly Father's business.
